The Wild Card question is a very obscure fact where the answer is a figure or date. The idea is that following the Quiz everyone pays a small sum (like £1) and gets a Post-It. This is to write their name and the answer to the Wild Card Question. Once everyone has paid, the Quiz Master asks the question. Those playing then have 30 seconds to write their answer and put their Post-It on the Quiz Masters table. When the Post-It’s are all in, the Quiz Master checks the entries and whoever is closest to the answer wins all the money collected. Ending with a Wild Card Question is a great way to finish the Quiz (and keep your audience in for extra drinks!).
